This week I have hurt myself twice while making. For the last 14 or so years, I have been fortunate not to hurt myself when making, mostly I hurt myself cooking and gardening. This week was the exception. On Tuesday I hit my index finger (really hard) with a hammer. Yesterday I slipped with my jewellers saw and cut straight into my finger. The funny thing about this is that for the last 3 weeks I have been teaching students how to use a jewellers saw and how to cut and saw pierce metal. If only I was being filmed yesterday I would have made a perfect demonstration of what not to do, and how to really hurt yourself in a matter of seconds.
All of Milly's paws are fine. She slept through both incidents.
