This work was part of my Masters folio from 2004.
It was the 'hallway' between two 'houses', that I made out of wood, then hand painted and engraved. I like the idea that with some work, you have to go exploring to find meaning. It would be very easy to just walk past this work and just see three black objects. The 'hallway' was lined with paintings on copper sheet, depicting, birds, textile and the nervous system. I liked that when I took these photos, the images became distorted because of the angle needed to capture them. they sort of became something else.
